Transform your smile without porcelain
Improve several visible teeth using minimally invasive tooth-coloured resin at either of our clinics in Hampshire from £395 per tooth. Composite veneers cover the entire visible front surface of the tooth, unlike bonding, which just covers a small area.
Patients can transform the shape, proportions, and appearance of their smile with no dental laboratory stage, as it’s sculpted directly onto their teeth, meaning their smile can be transformed in one same-day appointment.
- Completed directly on your teeth: No laboratory manufacturing.
- Same-day makeover: Several teeth can be treated in one appointment.
- Little or no drilling: Healthy enamel can often be preserved.
- Repairable: Composite can usually be added to or repaired directly.
- Treat multiple concerns: Colour, wear, shape, chips and small gaps.
- Lower cost than porcelain: Composite treatments start from £395 per tooth.
Why choose The Smiles Studio for composite veneers?
The dentist you choose for composite veneers matters. This is because they rely heavily on the dentist’s skill, as the material is hand-sculpted and shaped directly onto the tooth rather than manufactured by a dental technician in a laboratory.
Dr Jayesh Nagpal, our cosmetic dentist, has several years of experience in high-end cosmetic practices and has been working with composite resin for years.
His approach focuses on subtle, natural changes rather than simply adding bulky resin across every front tooth, helping patients achieve results that feel natural and suit their proportions.
More reasons to choose us:
- Advanced Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry training
- Minimally invasive approach
- Same-day treatment (one-visit veneers)
- Smile design around your proportions
- Composite treatment from £350 per tooth
- 500+ reviews across our practices
Are you suitable for composite veneers?
Composite veneers are layers of dental resin that are bonded over most of the front surface of your natural tooth. The material is also used in white fillings and composite bonding. In bonding, it’s used on a portion of the tooth rather than masking larger imperfections.
Composite veneers can be used to alter:
- Shape, length and width
- Edge position and symmetry
- Surface appearance
- Colour of the teeth
Are composite veneers right for your concern?
| Concern | Recommended treatment |
|---|---|
| Chipped tooth | Composite bonding |
| Worn or shortened teeth | Composite veneers |
| Small gap | Composite bonding |
| Uneven tooth shapes | Composite veneers |
| Discoloured teeth | Composite veneers |
| Mildly crooked teeth | Composite veneers |
| Uneven edges | Edge bonding |
| Several cosmetic concerns | Composite veneers |

I’ve had regular hygienist appointments at Smiles Studio over the last 7 years and with Juhi for the past 3. She is extremely good and long may she continue her work at the practice, for as long as I require treatment.Posted on Google![]()

I’ve been having treatment done and today I was in for my Implant operation. I was incredibly nervous but I have to say it was fine it was actually less uncomfortable than some of the other work I have had done. Dr Mahesh Nagpal was great and put me at ease with what was about to happen, and making sure I was ok. Overall so far the treatment and communication I’ve had done, and the results I’ve seen are fantastic. I would highly recommend Smiles Dental surgery all the staff have been great.Posted on Google![]()

How composite veneers are fitted
One of the biggest advantages of composite veneers is that they can be placed with little or no removal of natural tooth structure, as the material is added directly onto your existing enamel.
Dr Jay prioritises preserving healthy tooth structure wherever possible, but minor reshaping may be needed depending on tooth position and your desired result, especially if a tooth protrudes. Here’s how the process works:
- Consultation: We assess your teeth, bite, and smile and discuss what you would like to change.
- Plan your shapes: We decide which teeth need treating and how their length, width, or surface should change.
- Select your shade: Composite is matched to your natural teeth or to a planned whitening shade.
- Bond the resin: The teeth are prepared for adhesion and composite is applied directly.
- Shape your veneers: Dr Jay carefully sculpts each tooth rather than using a generic template.
- Polish and check the bite: The surfaces are polished, and the way your teeth meet is checked before treatment is complete
How much do composite veneers cost?

Composite veneer FAQs
Are composite veneers permanent?
No. They require maintenance and may eventually need repair, polishing or replacement.
Do composite veneers stain?
Composite resin can gradually stain more than porcelain.
Can they be whitened?
No. Whitening treatment does not change the colour of existing composite, so it is usually done first when needed.
Are they reversible?
If no natural tooth has been removed, composite can be a much more reversible cosmetic approach than porcelain. Your individual case will determine this.
How long do composite veneers last?
Longevity varies according to bite, habits, and maintenance. Composite cosmetic work generally requires more frequent maintenance than porcelain.
Are they cheaper than porcelain?
Generally, yes. Composite treatments start from £350 per tooth, while porcelain veneers start from £795.
