Directions to Lymington
From Southampton (12 miles)
By Car: Take the A35 out of Southampton, pass through Totton, and join the A337 southbound through Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst. This takes you straight into Lymington.
As you enter the town, the A337 becomes Southampton Road. Follow it to the marina, turning left onto Queen Street (just past the train station).
By Train: Catch the South Western Railway service from Southampton Central to Brockenhurst, then cross the platform for the Lymington Heritage Line “Lymington Flyer” to Lymington Town Station. From the station, it is a 2-minute walk up toward Queen Street.
Travelling from Christchurch (10 miles)
By Car: Take the A337 out of Christchurch through Highcliffe, New Milton, and Downton. Follow the A337 (Bournemouth Road) straight into Lymington. Continue onto the High Street, head down the hill toward the water, and turn right onto Queen Street.
By Bus: The Morebus X1 or X2 services connect Christchurch directly to Lymington main high street.
Travelling from Totton (11 miles)
By Car: Take the A326 southbound and head down past Marchwood, then turn right onto the B3056 toward Beaulieu. Pass through Beaulieu and take the B3054 straight into Lymington, leading directly into the town centre and Queen Street.
Travelling from New Milton (5 miles)
By Car: Take the A337 (Christchurch Road/Bournemouth Road) past Everton.
Follow the road straight into Lymington High Street. Go down the hill toward the Quay and turn right into Queen Street.
By Train: Regular direct trains run from New Milton Station to Lymington Town via Brockenhurst.
Travelling from Newport, Isle of Wight
By Car & Ferry: Board the Wightlink car ferry to Lymington. Upon arrival at the Lymington Pier Terminal, follow the B3054 across the river bridge, turning left onto Marsh Lane, which brings you straight to Queen Street.
Travelling from Hedge End (15 miles)
By Car: Take the A334 toward the M27. Follow the M27 to Junction 3, exiting onto the A326 toward Totton.
From the A326, merge onto the A35 at Lyndhurst, then take the A337 straight through the forest into Lymington, turning onto Queen Street just past the town centre.
Travelling from Hythe & Dibden (9 miles)
By Car: Head west out of Hythe onto the B3054. Follow through Beaulieu, straight into Lymington.
Cross over the bridge onto Marsh Lane, which links directly to Queen Street.
Travelling from Ringwood (12 miles)
By Car: Take the A31 east out of Ringwood, then exit onto the A35 toward Lyndhurst.
Once in Lyndhurst, turn right onto the A337, driving straight through Brockenhurst and into Lymington. Head down Southampton Road toward the Quay to find Queen Street.
Travelling from Cowes
By Car & Ferry: Take the Wightlink ferry across the Solent to the Lymington Pier. The practice at Coronation House on Queen Street is just a minute’s drive.
Travelling from Marchwood (10 miles)
By Car: Join the A326 southbound, then turn right onto the B3056 through the New Forest toward Beaulieu.
From Beaulieu, take the B3054 across the heath straight into Lymington town centre, crossing the river bridge onto Marsh Lane to reach Queen Street.
Travelling from Yarmouth, Isle of Wight
By Ferry: Board the Wightlink Ferry. The crossing brings you directly into the Lymington River. Coronation House on Queen Street is just minutes from the Pier.
