Dr Nagpal has been a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists since 2007 and an Association of Dental Implantology UK-accredited implant mentor since 2008.
His postgraduate implant training includes a one-year full-time implant programme at the University of Toronto, alongside international training across the USA, Canada and Europe, making him a great referral choice for single implants, complex bone augmentation and full-mouth rehabilitation.

Returning your patient to your care
At The Smiles Studio, your patient remains your patient, and our lines of communication are open from the very first stage.
You’ll receive regular updates on your patient’s care and response to treatment, so you remain fully informed at every stage.
Once treatment is complete, typically after a few months, we’ll return your patient to your care and provide your clinic with a full treatment report that includes details on the type of implant, materials used, positioning and placement, restoration information, follow-up, and maintenance instructions.
Even after the patient has been released back into your care, our doors are always open, and we can provide additional assistance to support their long-term care if needed.

What dental implant cases can I refer?
We can assess patients requiring anything from a single dental implant to multiple implants and full-arch rehabilitation. Referrals can also be made for more complex cases involving bone loss, sinus anatomy, grafting requirements or failing full dentitions.
Can I refer a patient who has been told they don't have enough bone for implants?
Yes. Reduced bone volume does not automatically rule out implant treatment. Dr Nagpal can assess the available bone and determine whether bone grafting, sinus augmentation or an alternative implant approach, like Pterygoid Implants, may be appropriate.
Do you accept referrals for bone grafts and sinus lifts?
Yes. The Smiles Studio provides pre-implant procedures, including bone grafting and sinus lifts, for patients who need additional bone before implant placement.
Do you accept full-mouth implant referrals?
Yes. Dr Nagpal has extensive experience with full-mouth implant rehabilitation, including All-on-4 and fixed same-day temporary teeth for suitable patients.
Do you offer CBCT scans for referred patients?
Yes. We have an in-house CBCT referral service. Dentists can refer patients for implant-related imaging either as part of an implant assessment or for a scan alone.
Can I refer for a second opinion?
Yes. Patients with more complicated implant needs can be referred for further assessment when suitability or the most appropriate treatment approach is unclear.
What information should I send with my referral?
Please provide the patient’s details, relevant medical and dental history, reason for referral, teeth or areas concerned and any relevant radiographs, photographs or previous scans. The more information supplied at referral, the easier it is for our team to understand the case beforehand.
Which practice should I refer my patient to?
The Smiles Studio accepts referrals at both Chandler’s Ford and Lymington. You can select the most convenient practice when completing the referral.
